Whilst working in the in-house design team for Insights Learning & Development, I had an opportunity to work on concepts for a company-wide rebrand. Insights’ core product centres around 8 colour energies (4 main, 4 secondary), and most of their theory is based on where you sit on their model wheel of colour energies (persona types).

The idea behind this concept for the rebrand is bringing their model of the colour wheel into the branding itself. The revised icon directly relates to where the colour energies sit on that wheel and is an abstract reflection of that.

Insights is all about people, and the brand had to reflect that. There’s a human, slightly fun, organic feel to the layouts and graphics used within the brand — with elements from the icon being used large as either graphic devices in their own right or as content holders or masks

VAAAS provides virtual assistants tailored specifically for the recruitment industry. Based in the Philippines, these skilled professionals deliver seamless support to businesses worldwide, thriving in a competitive landscape.

The concept revolves around “letting business flow” – offering outsourced resources without the hassle or workflow interruptions. The graphic line symbolizes VAAAS's seamless integration into your business, adapting fluidly to meet your needs and supporting companies with efficiency and precision.

When Beyond split from their parent company BearingPoint, they wanted to rebrand and overhaul their entire proposition.

The concept of vision, looking to the future and limitless possibilities drove the proposition and visuals. Purposely staying away from a ‘techy’ looking feel and more towards an epic, organic and often abstract approach to set them apart from their competitors.

The rebrand looks at everything from the proposition, the brand itself, then to right through to everyday assets and campaign promotions.

Rebrand for Isle of Man based IT and cloud solutions company Synapse360.

Synapse 360 approached us with helping them achieve their business growth plan – which was to extend their reach into the mainland UK.

After competitor analysis and company workshops, it was clear that there was a need for a straight-talking, down-to-earth, no-jargon IT business to help companies align with cloud based services.

We set about using the staff themselves as the face of the business and framed them as the ‘can-do’ people. Friendly ‘heroes’ that won’t over-complicate things and have the can-do attitude to get stuck in. Service with a smile, literally – we built it into the logo.

Rebrand for MasterPro – Euro Car Parts own brand range of mechanics tools and garage equipment. These tough, reliable and affordable tools aimed at professionals and home mechanics alike.

The branding is straight-talking and fuss-free to reflect the honesty of the tools themselves.

Throughout 2018 PCL are celebrating their 80th birthday. This campaign runs all year to promote that message. The '80' made from the air hose pushes the 'Driven by Air' tagline while the messaging plays on their 80 years of experience.

I designed the look and feel of the campaign and art directed the photoshoot for the models, and worked with the team to roll out the deliverables.

Concepts for a campaign for Speedy Hire. Speedy were trialling a same day delivery service for a selection of their popular tools. The proposal included press ads, out of home advertising, a butty van which would drive to various large building sites and offer out branded snacks and a personalised direct mail pack hand delivered to the foreman of the site.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe asked Bolser to pitch to design and build an app for the yet to be released Sony PS Vita. Along with the rest of the team we pitched several ideas. The app had to utilise every aspect of the hardware. Our concept was a location based AR graffiti tagging app, where you could create your own graffiti tags and place them anywhere in the world using AR. We won the pitch with this app and I was appointed to be the sole designer based on my visuals for the pitch. Working with UX/UI specialists, I designed the entire interface of the app, along with everything else visual, including the logo, tutorial walkthroughs, three bespoke typefaces, awards, icons and level-up characters.

Concept for the Pagid summer campaign. The campaign was aimed at distributors to push the Pagid brand in the summer months. Those who pushed the most sales could win the perfect break - they choose where to go.

Brand identity and collateral for TruNarrative - a new financial crime, risk and compliance platform for businesses. The idea for the icon came from the company name - the tick being 'Tru' and the bookmark being a story, a 'Narrative', brought together in to one unit.

Collateral included a logo, a suite of icons, brand guidelines, stationery, photography, brochures, flyers, a responsive web site and social media campaigns.

A campaign to encourage kids to use the Asda Photo facility in Asda Superstores. I created a character - Snappy the snap-happy crocodile to use across the campaign. I illustrated all of the deliverables which included a tote bag, an activity book, a disposable camera, a mask, a sticker sheet and a membership card that gave a discount off prints of your photos from Asda Photo kiosks.

Using Nokia’s existing asset library, I created a brochure which outlined the features of the Nokia Ovi services. The brochure was to be given away with all new mobile phone sales.

Winter campaign for Pagid brakes. Aimed purely at distributors, the aim was for them to push the Pagid brand over the winter months. The campaign was incentivised with Pagid winter merchandise and those who pushed sales hardest, won a trip away.

Deliverables included branch posters, a brochure, shelf wobblers, press advertising, retargeting advertising, social media posts, emails, leaflets, a microsite, branded merchandise in a presentation box.

Brother wanted an animated video pinpointing key dates in their history. I came up with the ‘Threads Through Time’ concept based on their origins as a sewing machine manufacturer. After storyboarding and designing the visuals, I worked with an animator to pull the whole project together.

A European promotional campaign for Brother's P-Touch labelling machines. The campaign included press advertising, brochures, social media activity, retargeting advertising and guidelines for internal staff to follow. The campaign was rolled out in 23 languages. I designed the campaign, art directed the photoshoot and rolled out the deliverables.

Starting from the 12 o'clock position, each segment is a stage in the process and show how and where Leica Geosystems products sit in the construction process and how they form a complete solution from start to finish.
